Realday, the workforce management platform specialising in the scheduling, deployment and retention of staff has had a brand refresh and welcomes Mark Doyle from TempBuddy/Erecruit to head up its official launch into the UK and US.

Since its launch in 2018, Realday has continuously developed, gained feedback and fine-tuned its platform across the DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) region with multiple businesses under the name Tempest. The most recent iteration of the platform, which includes a new website alongside the name, reflects the company’s focus on product development in creating a tool that not only empowers companies to manage their workforce more effectively, but also complements their current technology stack

Commenting on the new brand and Mark’s arrival, Georg Schmertzing and Friedrich Fürstenberg, Realday’s co-founders are excited about the next chapter in the company’s journey:

“As we look to expand into new territories, it made sense for us to reflect on the past two years of success and think about a new identity and approach to the market. We’re no longer a start-up business and have a customer base, product, team and strategy in place that warranted a fresh go-to-market proposition. And as much as we love the works of The Tempest by William Shakespeare, our software deserves to stand alone in the world of Google!

Alongside this, we’re delighted to bring Mark on board. His pedigree is second to none having worked for one of the market leaders in this space for several years and I’m confident his experience of the industry, what customers love when it comes to workforce management, and his network will be of a huge benefit as we expand our focus to the huge potential of the UK and US markets.”

Mark Doyle spent over six years with TempBuddy, the Irish start-up that merged with Bond International Software, Erecruit, and was eventually acquired by Bullhorn in late 2019. Having decided to join Realday in June, Mark officially joined the team in July and has been preparing for this brand refresh since then as part of the executive team:

“What drew me to Realday and the founders was that there was a keen vision for how we can help companies manage, retain, and engage their workforce. Having seen a similar startup go on this journey in recent years, Realday truly has the user – both client and candidate – at the heart of it. We’re laser focused on adding cutting-edge workforce management solutions to the great things companies are already doing with their tech stack. We’re not trying to be everything to everyone.

The existing features and the future roadmap of Realday are really going to bring a whole new dimension to how companies manage their workforce and how people secure work. We’ve got a focus on building relationships across the industry from staffing companies, to in-house teams through to CRMs and other integration partners to make a positive impact. That really aligns with my values and I’m excited by what we can achieve as a team. ”
